Job Title : Lead Customer Relation Specialist

Reports To: Store Manager

Completes various office support functions in the day to day retail store operations.

  • Accounting functions

    • Receives all cash, checks and/or bankcard charges for initial deposits, subsequent payments or CODs for sales orders written in a specific store
    • Inputs accurate data in various computer screens to indicate their receipt and appropriate allocation
    • Successfully operates and balances various authorization machines such as those used for bankcard approval, check approval and/or finance company approvals
    • Balances the store by balancing each individual drawer representing the day’s transactions at the end of the shift
    • Reviewing all finance applications for accuracy and completeness then directing to the Accounting department
  • Customer Interactions functions

    • Converts RES into sales orders in SOM, editing sales consultant’s work, as needed
    • Gives customers receipts and explains company policies
    • Assists customers in the completion of the finance application
    • Assist in the resolution of in-store customer concerns and/or referring the information or concern to the Customer Service department
    • Interacting with Norwest Financial in obtaining OTB information, increasing of credit limits and resolution of some billing problems on the customer’s behalf
    • Assists calling customers and scheduling deliveries found by working SOR reports
  • Clerical functions

    • Promptly answers all incoming calls and directs to the appropriate personnel
    • Types letters and memos for managers as time permits
    • Assists in the running of reports as designated by Office Managers
    • Understands the operation of copy and fax machines and assists others in doing so
    • Filing of applications, memos, forms, etc, as necessary
    • Maintaining appropriate levels of supplies, ordering as necessary, reconciles receiving of:
    • Store office supplies (e.g. pens, paper)
    • Store forms (e.g. W4s, RES chits)
    • Directs invoice of all supplies to Office Manager for approval
    • Assists Office Manager in the training and supervising of all full- and part-time A/R personnel
    • Assists Office Manager in the maintenance of employee paperwork, benefits and scheduling
    • Accomplishes, and ensures the same from departmental employees, the following:
    • Performs all duties in a safe manner and maintains a neat work area free from potential hazards at all times
    • Maintains a professional and courteous manner with all employees, visitors and/or customers
    • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
    • Operates all company equipment in a safe and proper manner
    • Creates an atmosphere allowing for open and effective communication
    • Promotes the development of proactive, positive and preventative measures, thinking and solutions to problems
  • All other duties as assigned

  • High School diploma
  • Working knowledge of GERS systems and programs
  • 1 year previous experience
  • Ability to professionally interact with the public
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
